Marathon Monday

I found out too late about the Pre-Boston Marathon Bike Ride, organized on Facebook.

It was Sunday, at midnight, silly hats encouraged. Next year I’m definitely there.

If I can’t ride all night, maybe I’ll join the 5:45 AM group.

Another AP article I found before, but not now, reported that some people make it an out-and-back for 50+ miles. That could be fun and save me the train fare.

Next year, definitely.

   I don’t know what happened with the other Facebook people, but I did this midnight ride (well, most of it.) I went out-and-back, it was tough but worth it. Here’s my story.

   Also Shane (bostonbiker.org owner) did the out-and-back in the early morning with some other folks. Here’s his tale.

   chiccyclist – I read it! You provide some lovely commentary, and I’m not so stylish myself so for me it’s a fresh perspective.

   Oh, and no worries, I get a lot of spam comments too and sometimes it’s daunting to find the real comments. Comes with having the blog I guess.
