Brooks Saddle Bummer

July 22nd, 2010

Someone was working in the shed where I keep my bike and accidentally got latex paint on the saddle. Such a bummer!

I’ve been doing my research about how to get it off, and have a few ideas to try, but I’m wondering if anyone else out there has experience with this to share?

How do you get latex paint off of a Brooks saddle?

Try water and a sponge wit a scrubby side. start with the smoother side first then try the scrubber side light pressure at first then apply more pressure if needed. That should do it leather is pretty tough. If that doesn’t work move up to a LATEX PAINT THINNER it’s a little stronger than Water and shouldn’t harm the leather. Good luck and let me know how it works.
